What's In It For You
- Pay based on what you bring: $38,000-$52,000 base salary, with a performance review after your first 90 days. Candidates with strong permitting experience who can take over our entire permitting process from day one will start at the top of the range.

- 15 PTO days years 5 and after.
- Company-provided laptop and the tools you need to do the job well.
- Real training: We'll teach you our systems, our services, and our processes. You don't need construction experience to start. If you already know permitting inside and out, we'll pay for it.
- Work that matters: This role is at the center of the company. It shapes the customer experience, turns calls into booked jobs, and keeps projects moving.
- A growing company: HydroHelp911 is expanding across the Carolinas, and people who take ownership grow with us.
About the Role
When a homeowner calls about a wet crawlspace or a cracked foundation, you're often the first person they talk to. We need someone who is confident on the phone, moves with urgency, stays organized, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What you'll do:
- Answer inbound calls and leads. Pick up quickly and professionally, find out what the homeowner needs, give accurate information, and get qualified opportunities scheduled.
- Set and confirm appointments. Turn conversations into scheduled inspections, make outbound follow-up calls, confirm appointments, and collect any missing information.
- Take care of customers. Listen, ask the right questions, document every conversation, and make sure each customer gets an answer or reaches the right team member.
- Coordinate permits. Work out what each project needs, prepare and submit applications, work with municipalities and building departments, track permits to approval, and keep the team updated on status.
- Keep records accurate. Update the CRM as things happen, log calls and follow-ups, and upload documents to the correct customer and project.
- Support sales and production. Pass along customer information, track open items, and follow up so the right person gets the right information at the right time.
What Success Looks Like
- Calls are answered quickly and professionally.
- Leads and customers get timely, accurate follow-up.
- Appointments are scheduled and confirmed correctly.
- CRM notes and customer records stay accurate and current.
- Permits are submitted, tracked, and seen through to completion.
- Problems are caught early and either solved or handed off properly.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent. Office or administrative training is a plus.
- Experience as a receptionist, office assistant, call center rep, or in customer service is preferred.
- Permitting experience is a strong plus, especially across multiple counties or states.
- Confidence on the phone and strong written communication.
- The ability to juggle several priorities without losing track of details.
- Comfort with Google Sheets, Google Docs, and learning a CRM.
- A self-starter with a positive, professional attitude who owns problems until they're solved.
Starting at the Top of the Range
To start at $52,000, you'll need hands-on permitting experience with a company that worked across multiple counties. Experience across multiple states is preferred. At this level, you'll take full ownership of HydroHelp911's permitting process. That means figuring out the requirements for each jurisdiction, submitting applications, working directly with building departments, and tracking every permit through to approval.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit for long periods.
- Able to do occasional light lifting, such as office supplies.
Before You Apply
HydroHelp911 was founded in 2010. Please remember this, because it will come up later in the hiring process.
